Yesterday, it was announced that Taylor Swift and her boyfriend Calvin Harris had split. It’s a sad, if expected, ending to the 15-month-old relationship. After all, Taylor seemed happy, at least in the April issue of Vogue — where all relationship truths live — when she called their union “magical.” But we all know magic is mere illusion (or do we?), and the relationship is publicly over. Let’s take a look back at where it lived — Instagram.

Last summer, the two sailed around London with Karlie Kloss and Zayn Malik because that’s how they do (or did).

This one gets high marks for adorableness. Taylor posted it last year over the Fourth of July weekend and added the caption “Friendly relations between Scotland and America” in a shout-out to the Scottish DJ and producer.

The two even spent the holidays together, along with Swift’s family and a snowman in Vail, Colorado.

And, most recently, Taylor posted this pic while the two celebrated their one-year anniversary in the Caribbean.

Rooney Mara is known for her moody, dark hair, which gave her a reserved, cool-girl air. No longer. She has joined Taylor Swift and Emma Stone in becoming platinum blonde, which officially means that no one is safe. If Mara, she of the pale skin and extra-dark hair and brows, who exuded a slight gothic ambience wherever she went, can go full-on bleach-blonde, anyone can. Who is next? Selena Gomez? Angelina Jolie? Megan Fox? It seems as though no one is immune to the siren song of a bottle of bleach.

Though she’s often spotted out and about in NYC, and she has a definite penchant for rock & roll staples such as leather jackets or all-black ensembles, it seems as though she’s really letting her inner rocker-chick flag fly now that her hair is white-blonde. Both shots we’ve seen of her since she went to town on the bleach are exceptional examples of ’90s grunge, complete with worn concert tees, a flannel shirt, or an oversize jean jacket.

In other news, she was spotted yesterday on the subway in NYC, trying to camouflage herself into a corner of the train but failing miserably. It’s the blonde hair, Rooney!

Taylor Swift, newly single musician, is no stranger to surprising fans–the singer once sent out personalized cards to her most dedicated followers for Christmas, and she just spent her weekend crashing a fan’s wedding in Brant Beach, New Jersey.

The groom, Max Singer, has loved Swift’s music for years, and both he and his new wife Kenya Smith were totally taken by surprised at the star’s appearance. People reports that Max’s sister sent Swift a letter earlier this year to organize the performance, telling the celebrity about their mom’s recent death. The newly weds were first married in hospital so the groom’s late mother could be involved, and Max and his late mom even danced to “Blank Space,” which Swift thoughtfully performed at their celebration this weekend.

Former country singer Taylor Swift recently went through a (reportedly very amicable) breakup, but she clearly hasn’t taken to her bed and/or gone all Wuthering Heights on us due to emotional turmoil. She may, however, have just taken the retail-therapy approach to the next level, by “taking shelter” in an approximately $40,000-a-month West Village retail. Ah, yes; of course.

TMZ revealed that Swift, who is said to have a net worth of more than$200 million, is waiting out renovations on her 10,000-square-foot Tribeca penthouse by renting the pricey Cornelia Street pad in question. The old five-story carriage, which is owned by Soho House head honcho David Aldea, features five bedrooms, six baths, a basement, a two-story patio, and a private garage. Taylor Swift really isn’t wasting any time moving on from Calvin Harris. Though his M.O. since their split two short weeks ago has been mostly posting topless selfies to Snapchat and Instagram, Tay has been spotted on the rocky cliffs of famous romantic getaway Rhode Island with Tom Hiddleston. If you fell asleep between reading “Tom” and “Hiddleston,” don’t worry, totally understandable: It happens all the time.

According to the Daily Mail, “Tom wasted no time in asking Taylor out after he learned she was single,” a source said. “They were texting quite a bit, and he asked her out.” The photos of the pair were snapped on the Misquamicut beach near her eight-bedroom, 11,000-square-foot mansion in Watch Hill, Rhode Island, according to The Sun.

Looks like Harris isn’t taking this latest development terribly well. Not only did he delete all of his photos with Swift on Instagram, he tweeted—then deleted—a very pissy tweet earlier today: “Oh boy it’s about to go down 💀💀💀.” Sorry, Harris, not cute. Yes, it’s never a good idea to take a romantic ocean-gazing outing two weeks after a breakup when you’re a famous person, but revenge tweets look good on no one.

 Approximately a million years ago, Kanye West released The Life of Pablo, which included the song “Famous,” with the lines “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous,” which reignited a feud between him and Taylor Swift that had finally been put out. And then everyone forgot about it, because no one really cares. Throughout, West maintained that he had Swift’s blessing on the lyric, and Swift maintained he did not. Classic he said/she said situation—and one that was ultimately so benign that no one really bothered to get to the bottom of it.

Until now. In Kim Kardashian’s fiery GQ cover story, she really went to town on Swift. “She totally approved that” lyric, Kardashian said. “She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t. I swear, my husband gets so much shit for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved. What rapper would call a girl that he was rapping a line about to get approval?”

Supposedly, the call between West and Swift was documented, so much so that “so many respected people in the music business heard that [conversation] and knew,” Kardashian said. Apparently “Rick Rubin was there” during the phone call, she added. “I don’t know why she just, you know, flipped all of a sudden.… It was funny because [on the call with Kanye, Taylor] said, ‘When I get on the Grammy red carpet, all the media is going to think that I’m so against this, and I’ll just laugh and say, The joke’s on you, guys. I was in on it the whole time.’ And I’m like, wait, but [in] your Grammy speech, you completely dissed my husband just to play the victim again.”

It doesn’t end there. Kardashian went on to allege that Swift had a letter sent, demanding that the footage of the phone call be destroyed. “Then they sent an attorney’s letter like, ‘Don’t you dare do anything with that footage,’ and asking us to destroy it,” she said. “When you shoot something, you don’t stop every two seconds and be like, ‘Oh wait, we’re shooting this for my documentary.’ You just film everything, and whatever makes the edit, then you see, then you send out releases. It’s like what we do for our show.”

The best part of all of this is that GQ asked Swift’s team about the whole thing, and received the following epic statement in response:

“Taylor does not hold anything against Kim Kardashian as she recognizes the pressure Kim must be under and that she is only repeating what she has been told by Kanye West. However, that does not change the fact that much of what Kim is saying is incorrect. Kanye West and Taylor only spoke once on the phone while she was on vacation with her family in January of 2016 and they have never spoken since. Taylor has never denied that conversation took place. It was on that phone call that Kanye West also asked her to release the song on her Twitter account, which she declined to do. Kanye West never told Taylor he was going to use the term ‘that bitch’ in referencing her. A song cannot be approved if it was never heard. Kanye West never played the song for Taylor Swift. Taylor heard it for the first time when everyone else did and was humiliated. Kim Kardashian’s claim that Taylor and her team were aware of being recorded is not true, and Taylor cannot understand why Kanye West, and now Kim Kardashian, will not just leave her alone.”

LOL. So, basically, as Swift’s team would have the world believe, KimYe are huge bullies and liars. As KimYe would have the world believe, Swift is a passive-aggressive liar. Who knows. As they say, there are always three sides to every story: KimYe’s, Swift’s, and the truth.

When news broke of Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston staging romantic photos for the paparazzi taking their budding love public yesterday, Twitter immediately went batshit. The general consensus seems to be that people are definitely not into this new “couple,” and think it’s all attention and publicity (at least on Swift’s side), and feel genuinely confused and dismayed by the whole thing. Basically, our thoughts exactly.

At this point, the internet is pretty skeptical about Swift’s dating pattern, which is not so much of a pattern as much as a constant barrage—unless that counts as a pattern, in which case her pattern is that she’s always in a relationship. In any event, Twitter has become the best source of entertainment whenever anyone famous does anything stupid. Have you ever heard of Olympia Tea Room in Westerly, Rhode Island? Same, but apparently Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have, because they had a romantic date night there on Wednesday night, the day after news swept the world that the two had been spotted making out on some craggy rocks on the coast of Rhode Island.

“Tom and Taylor were … in the back left booth drinking white wine,” an eyewitness told Us Weekly. “They were very cute, a lot of laughing, giggling, as she showed him texts and photos on her phone.” We’re not really sure why she’d be showing him texts on her phone, but perhaps this was a bit of extrapolation on the eyewitness’ part. Fair enough.

“They were interlacing their fingers across the table and laughing,” the source said. Important: They ordered “the restaurant’s famous Avondale Swan pastry,” which is basically a swan made out of pastry, whipped cream, and fudge. This was not a quick dinner; they were there for over two and a half hours, leaving around 11:30 p.m. Also, they were apparently in no rush to go to sleep, if you know what we mean—they ordered espresso after dinner.

When W did a photo shoot with Tom Hiddleston in April as part of an annual portfolio of TV’s hottest, the mag had no idea what kind of gold mine it had on their hands. Though Hiddleston has definitely had some heartthrob status buzzing around his head for a while, no one could’ve predicted that the British actor was about to start dating Taylor Swift (well, except her PR team and that one person who wrote a piece of fan fiction about it a couple of years ago), instantaneously catapulting himself to trending status.

But catapult he has, just in time to really secure that bid to be the next James Bond, perhaps, and today you can feast your eyes on Hiddleston in all his mostly naked glory if you so desire. Clad in nothing more than a pair of white cotton boxers (available here, if need be), he looks kind of awkward in the three revealing shots; though his poses try to scream, “I’m sexy,” his body language and the look on his face say more, “I’m uncomfortable.” Maybe that’s because the pics leave pretty much nothing to the imagination.

In an interview with W, Hiddleston said he was surprised that a shot of his bare ass was cut from the American broadcast of an episode of “The Night Manager,” the crime drama on which he plays a hotel manager turned spy. “I was surprised to hear that they cut my butt out!” he said. “I’m here to tell you that my butt is not dangerous.” In case you were wondering, Tom Hiddleston’s butt is not dangerous, guys. But you won’t get to see it in the W spread, in case you were hoping. “There are many, many more dangerous things that people are happy to broadcast,” he soapboxed. “I don’t know what that says about the world we live in, but it probably says something.”

He also said he’d be a bad spy in real life, because he’s soooo famous. “I’d make a terrible spy, because everybody knows who I am,” he told the publication. “They’d be like, ‘What are you doing here?'” For good measure, he gave himself another compliment: “Susanne Bier, the director of ‘The Night Manager,’ said that she thinks I am very enigmatic and good at keeping secrets.” What ever happened to at least trying to be humble in interviews? Maybe he was just sending not-so-subliminal messages to Barbara Broccoli and the Bond team about what a great person he is to have on set.

No one can get enough of Tom Hiddleston and Taylor Swift right now, so when Belgian radio station Qmusic posted an interview purportedly about their new relationship, the internet went wild. But—sorry, Hiddleswift fans—though some news outlets are reporting it as fact, the whole thing was just for publicity a “joke,” E! News confirmed. The station spliced together audio clips from old interviews to make it appear that Hiddleston was going on the record about his budding romance.

Asked how he would describe his relationship, the station had him respond, “I would describe it as a roller-coaster ride of action and spectacle, and lots of laughs.” Though that was Hiddleston’s voice, his comments were taken out of context, and he did not call in to discuss Swift. To top things off, they had him “respond” to the question “What’s she like, Taylor Swift? What kind of a woman is she?”

“Oh, she is an absolute delight,” the station had him respond. “She’s got such a wicked sense of humor, and she’s really fun to have around. She’s really great.”

Though everyone is rather flummoxed about Swift and Hiddleston’s new relationship, it seems as though it’s definitely happening, despite what many of us assumed when those kissing pics first surfaced last week. But Hiddleston isn’t so oblivious as to publicly discuss Swift—at least, not yet. But at this accelerated rate, it’s only a matter of time.

According to “ET,” “A source close to the DJ says he did not write the comments,” which makes sense, because what celeb in their right mind would take to IG to address random people’s questions? In any event, his answers line up with his general attitude of late—he posted some motivational speeches to Snapchat this week that one fan compared to a TED Talk (LOL), and after these phantom Instacomments appeared, he hit up Snapchat to play Jessie J’s single “Domino,” which includes the lyrics, “I’m feeling sexy and free.” Then Harris asked, “Who else is feeling sexy and free? I am!” OK, we get it: You’re totally over Taylor and you never really cared in the first place. Whatever you say, bro. But you know what they say about protesting too much.

The desire to change your hair dramatically after a breakup is not a foreign one to me, and it’s easy to understand why Taylor Swift might want to completely shake up her look after splitting from Calvin Harris and finding comfort in the arms of Tom Hiddleston. And today she has debuted a different hair color—however the “Shake It Off” singer’s literally dialed things back a shade or two, returning to the darker blonde she’s rocked for years.

You will remember Swift originally surprised us by going platinum for a Vogue cover just ahead of Coachella, sparkling the hashtag #bleachella. Then yesterday while greeting some mega-fans at the Taylor Swift Education Center at the Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville, she debuted the slightly less ashy color. Someone needs to revisit to driver’s ed and learn how to brake! According to a new report, it appears Taylor Swift (maybe you’ve heard of her? She’s this up-and-coming singer dating international sensation Tom Hiddleston) has already introduced her parents to her potential media boyfriend seemingly smitten boyfriend.

According to Us Weekly, a source claims Swift and Hiddleston were in Nashville Thursday, as were Taylor’s parents “After lunching at Epice, Swift and Hiddleston headed back to her apartment, where her parents met the 35-year-old British actor who has seemingly swept their daughter off her feet,” the mag wrote.

Uh, remind us never to get on Kanye West‘s bad side. The rapper debuted the video for his track “Famous” last night at Forum in Los Angeles—and man did it live up to the controversy.

In the pivotal scene, West lays in a giant bed next to between a dozen or so naked celebrities, including Kim Kardashian, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Anna Wintour, Donald Trump, George Bush, Bill Cosby, and exes Ray J and Amber Rose—some of whom are wax figures (duh), while others apparently are the real deal.

If you’ll recall, Swift’s camp has been making a BIG deal of the lyric, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that bitch famous,” issuing a statement insisting that the pop star did not grant approval before the song came out in response to Kim’s recent GQ interview. So something tells us there is major hell breaking loose over there this morning.

As for the other stars in the video, Chris Brown is the only one to respond publicly so far, Instagramming a screenshot with the caption, “Why I gotta have the plumbers butt/ crack showing WAX figure?” So, pretty sure he just wants credit for his abs.

Just one day after Swift allegedly introduced her parents to her new boyfriend in Nashville, she was spotted (and photographed) strolling along Aldeburgh beach in Suffolk, England with Hiddleston’s mom, Diana. Diana appears to be quite enamored with the “Blank Space” singer, actually.

Apparently Swift first met the actor’s mother on Friday after the (very) new couple flew to his home to meet her–so while cynics might recommend the potential James Bond actor should run in the opposite direction (especially given her ex Calvin Harris‘ recent comments that Tay “controlled the media” when they were dating), clearly he isn’t worried.

Bush, and Ray J officially did not pose half-naked (or agree to have their likeness used) in Kanye West’s already-infamous music video, “Famous.” As to everyone else who “appeared” in the video—Rihanna, Amber Rose, Caitlyn Jenner, Bill Cosby, Anna Wintour, and West himself, along with his wife, Kim Kardashian—it’s up for debate, though it’s safe to say that most of them, except, perhaps, immediate members of the Kardashian clan, are very good replicas.

Trump’s reps “denied the GOP candidate’s involvement in the shoot,” according to Variety, which should come as a surprise to no one—he may be insane, but not the kind of crazy that would inspire him to appear naked in a Kanye West video. Ditto to Bush: “In case there was any doubt … that is not President Bush,” a spokesperson told TMZ. Amusingly, the rep took the opportunity to point out how fit Bush is: “He is in much better shape,” the representative said.

Ray J’s rep took it a bit harder than the politicians’ mouthpieces did. When TMZ asked him about the vid, his manager, Wack 100, exploded. “If they didn’t show Ray J with his dick in Kim Kardashian’s mouth, then tell Kanye to go back and reshoot that shit,” he said. “Tell that n—a he’s a long way from Chicago; he’d better watch his motherfucking mouth.” (To see the whole rant, watch the video below.)

Brown was lighthearted about the whole thing, posting on IG, “Why I gotta have the plumbers butt/ crack showing WAX figure?😂😂😂😂. This n—a KANYE CRAZY, talented, but crazy 😭😭😭🏆 ” The next day, he posted an image of Barbie dolls re-creating West’s video, so it’s safe to say he’s feeling pretty cheerful about his cameo.

As to Swift—the person most likely to actually freak the F out about the video, since she and West have a long and complicated history—a source apparently told Hollywood Life that “Taylor is livid and horrified.” They continued, “She didn’t know what to do when she heard about what Kanye did. She is bewildered, feels betrayed, and is beyond frustrated with Kanye. It is like a complete nightmare.” Always wise to take news from Hollywood Life with more than a grain of salt, but—we’re sure she’s not thrilled. That said, she’s been busy pulling a Blac Chyna and Rob Kardashian–level zero-to-100 with Tom Hiddleston, so her thoughts are likely elsewhere.

West said the video is “not in support or anti any of [the people in the video]” as he told Vanity Fair. “It’s a comment on fame.” And his celebrity pals were stoked about the whole thing when they got a preview. “Guess what the response is when I show it to them? They want to be in the bed,” he told VF. He’s aware, though, how provocative the whole thing is, as he referenced in a now-deleted tweet he posted the day after the video premiered: “Can somebody sue me already #I‘llwait.”

New theory: Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are going to announce their engagement before the year (or, possibly, month) is out. JK, sort of, but today they were spotted in Rome, casually strolling through the Colosseum holding hands, after she met his mom in England over the weekend and he met her parents in Nashville last Thursday. Oh, and they started dating approximately two weeks ago (give or take, as her official breakup date with Calvin Harris remains unconfirmed). If anyone else has whiplash trying to follow this relationship, don’t worry: We do too.

The only other high-profile relationship that has gone so fast in recent months is that of the notorious Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna, and we honestly wouldn’t be surprised if Hiddleswift pulls something similar, though we’re not really buying the whole thing just yet (and neither is the internet). Regardless of their motives, Tom and Tay seem committed to this elaborate relationship. Maybe they’ll just stay together until Hiddleston lands the next Bond movie, satisfying the terms of his contract with Swift, and then they’ll break up.

Really, who can say what’s behind the Taylor Swift PR machine, though according to recent ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris (or a spot-on impostor who hacked his IG account), “she controlled the media” while they dated. One thing is for certain: We’ll be seeing much more of Hiddleswift soon. Perhaps a romantic walk through the Tuileries in Paris, or a swim in the Mediterranean off the coast of the French Riviera? Time (approximately five minutes or so) will tell.

Maybe it’s harsh, maybe it’s not even true, but either way, Taylor is on a European vacation with her new dude, Tom Hiddleston, as engagement rumors sweep the globe—and she’s making sure the paparazzi are nearby for the good shots.

As for Calvin, he reportedly laughed off rumors about him hooking up with Megan Rees. Instead, the DJ says he’s looking to find a normal, nonfamous girl, which is surely a reasonable request for someone who spends most nights in a Las Vegas club. As for what that girl might look like? Sofia Vergara, just not Sofia Vergara famous.

Has anyone else noticed that Taylor Swift immediately changes her look to reflect her boyfriend’s personal style? For example, shortly after she went public with her very real relationship with Tom Hiddleston, she toned her platinum hair back down to its usual dark-blonde hue. White-blonde was perfect for dating a virtual unknown famous DJ, but not so much for a reserved, cultured, classy 35-year-old like Hiddleston. Ditto to those leather jackets and all-black ensembles she’d step out in while in her last relationship, with Harris wearing pretty much the exact same thing on her arm.

OK, we’re just going to come out and say what everyone’s been thinking ever since Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston were spotted together making out on a wind-lashed rock for some paparazzi two weeks ago: What if Hiddleswift’s perplexing zero-to-100 relationship were just an elaborate ruse to land Hiddleston the role of the ninth James Bond?

After all, the competition is stiff. Along with Hiddleston, actors reportedly being considered for the role include Aidan Turner, Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Theo James, James Bell, James Norton, Damian Lewis, Michael Fassbender, Henry Cavill, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, and Sam Worthington. In mid-May, the UK’s Evening Standard barely mentioned Hiddleston, just name-checking him briefly while writing, “There’s plenty of rumours over who could be the next Bond—from favourites like Idris Elba and Damian Lewis, to the up-and-coming James Norton and primed-for-big-things Aidan Turner.” But since photos (and more photos, and even more photos) of Swift and Hiddleston have swept the globe, Bond producer Barbara Broccoli has reportedly narrowed it down to two possibilities: Theo James or Tom Hiddleston.

Hiddleswift’s comings and goings since they blazed on the scene have been well-documented, including multiple jaunts on Swift’s private plane and a very high-profile tour through Europe, which has included visits to England and Italy so far. And everything they’ve been doing has been very … Bond-y. From the almost-daily plane-hopping and the helicopter they chartered for a private view of Rome from above to the visit to the Vatican and the matching outfits left and right (with special attention to the crisp white shirts Hiddleston’s been favoring), they might as well be starring in their own person Bond movie.

Just a month ago, Hiddleston waved off Bond rumors at an event at Wizard World in Philadelphia, whatever that is. “I’m sorry to disappoint you everybody” he said, referring to the possibility of being crowned as Bond. “I don’t think that announcement is coming. But I’m very gratified to hear the enthusiasm. There’s not much that I can say that I haven’t already said, but … your guess is as good as mine, to be honest.”

But yesterday The Sun reported that a source at Bond production company Eon said, “Hiddleston is already bulking up for the Bond role on a special diet. … His new physique has been noticed by the bosses who now have him at the top of their list to replace Daniel.” What’s more, “Hiddleston has shot ahead and he is working extra hard to get the part.” The publication noted that his “credentials have risen tenfold” since the dawn of Hiddleswift. Also, don’t forget that awkward sexy photo shoot he did for W recently.

As talk show host Wendy Williams put it, “I’d never heard of this guy before — so how do you drum up votes? By dating somebody that we talk about.” One thing is for sure: No more Wizard World for Hiddleston. He’s come a long way from, say, where he was in the photo below, which was taken just nine short months ago. My, how things change.
